Microsoft stated that they are not going to support Windows XP & Office 2003 after April 8th of 2014. So , there after we can't get any support from microsoft for XP.
Thus we can tell it as the dead line for XP windows .

Why Microsoft is doing so ???
Microsoft has introduced a policy in 2002 which stated that its business products along with windows & Office products can have a minimum of Ten year support . As per the policy , April 8th 2014 is the last day for Windows XP and Office 2003 .
Microsoft is doing this for their business development as well . As we all know , and based on many surveys its clear that among every 5 systems , 1 will be of windows Xp . If its so , microsoft have to continue supporting oldies for years and years even after launching many newbies ( Vista , windows 7 and windows 8 ) which is hard and even loss for them .
By this , more and most of the users will be forced to be migrated from XP to any higher / latest versions of windows .

Whether a Business computer or a personal computer , we always care about securing our data . For maintaining every thing secured we will always do use lot of applications along with windows up-gradations.
If you are not concentrating on your PC security , hacking or spreading viruses became easy for spamers in this now a day Internet world.
For maintaining PC security : Updating windows , patching , Bug fixing , getting support in all other aspects are very must . But where as after all , we are not going have all these from Microsoft , which can cause security risks to all Windows XP users.

As a hacker , he/she will always look for bugs in windows which can give them a chance for hacking personal / business system . Till now microsoft is working and fixing all the bugs time by time and updating. But as they are going to stop supporting windows Xp here after , No one can fix these bugs which can lead to a big security risk .
If its a business system , this may lead to a big negative impact on to the organisation.
That is why many experts are suggesting for migration of windows xp to next level for which process has to be started now itself . ( as migration of windows will take some time )
